The Dolphin Cross is a short, unfinished sequel to The Face in the Frost that was lost, found, and eventually included in the 2009 anthology Magic Mirrors, published by the New England Science Fiction Association press.
The story picks up the saga of the two protagonists from the earlier novel, Prospero and, to a much lesser extent, Roger Bacon. In this adventure, Prospero is kidnapped and exiled on an island. While he manages to escape, he is unable to completely unravel why he was captured in the first place.
