The Fountain in New Zebedee, Michigan, sits at the center of the traffic circle near downtown.

At night the fountain was lit up and it turned from red to orange to yellow and from yellow to blue and from blue to green and back to red again (The House with a Clock in its Walls; 144). Around Christmas time the fountain was turned into a nativity scene (The Figure in the Shadows; 97,125).

Bellairs writes of the iconic Brooks Memorial Fountain in Marshall that sits at the center of the traffic circle where Michigan and Kalamazoo Avenues intersect.
